Amarillo Engagement Photographer- Constance and Skeet

Swoon! That is truly the first word I can think of when I think of Constance and Skeet’s engagement session. Well that…and a photographers HEAVEN for props!!!! I met Constance and Skeet out at his dad’s house and he collects any and everything! For probably one of the first times in my life I was speechless and didn’t even know where to begin. They even had chicken running around freely and and crazy and very vocal turkey! It was AWESOME! I wanted to photograph there for days! And of course photograph these two love birds indefinitely! They are such an adorable couple and aren’t afraid to show their love! I love watching them interact together and not skip a beat with any idea I threw their way. Skeet wasn’t like any other guy I have photographed for an engagement session. He was super excited about our session and really involved which I love!! He didn’t think twice in offering to move any piece of equipment or car just so we could capture Constance and I’s vision! And Constance….oh I feel like we are best friends already! I could have blopped on the couch and chit chatted with her for days on end. She has an infectious smile and a heart of gold! Constance and Skeet I truly hope others can find a love like yours and I am honored to be able to photograph your wedding in July!

Amarillo Newborn Photographer- Lowry

This little sweetheart is Lowry. I was able to meet and photograph her when she was only 8 days new. She came into the world about a month early so she was ti-niny. She loves to be wrapped up in her blankets so she made us work for her photos since she was all natural. But it was SO worth it! She was an absolute doll for her session and I can’t wait to photograph her again in the future. Enjoy a look at Miss Lowry….

Amarillo Newborn Photographer- Emma

Oh sweet baby Emma! I have to admit I was pretty nervous going into this session. You see Emma was 2.5 weeks new when we did our session. I, like any other experienced newborn photographer, know that once a baby is outside the 2 week new window it makes for a very exciting session. You see babies before their 2 week birthday are so much sleepier which leads us to be able to manipulate them into creative poses and props alot easier. This is why I prefer and request all my newborn sessions be between 5 and 14 days new.

With all that being said, I was nervous for Emma’s session. Like sweaty palms nervous and I got lost for ten minutes cause I was distracted nervous!! But there really wasn’t much I could complain about because it was after all MY fault we were waiting until she was 2.5 weeks new. You see, I got HORRIBLY sick for two weeks solid. I mean can’t get out of bed…don’t want to function…hate the day…sick! So unfortunately I had to reschedule our session with Emma because the very last thing I wanted to happen was for me to get this precious baby sick! But I must say when the session came to a wrap, Emma was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! She slept the ENTIRE time!!!! She was an absolute doll and I can not wait to photograph her again in her Grow Baby Grow package

I chose the image below to start the gallery because it speaks volumes. Paul had just come home from work for a brief second to catch a glimpse of Emma’s session. This was his, and his super sweet mother’s, reaction to us posing and photographing Emma

Amarillo Children Photographer- Jenner and Kannon

And the King boys are back!!! I always love when I get to take Kannon’s pictures but this session was super special because his older brother Jenner tagged along. Amy wanted to grab some quick shots of the boys for the Christmas card so we did a quick mini session. Poor babies were so cold but troopers at the same time!

Meet the Sutton’s!!!! Misty contacted me recently to do their family pictures and couldn’t have been more thrilled!! And THEN they showed up in bright colors and leopard print and I about lost it! If you know me well then you’ll know these are two of my favorite things Their little family is absolutely precious! Gracie is such a fun spunky 5 year old and Trew is a happy sweet 18 month old! I just might have to steal his name for our next baby boy

Amarillo Baby Photographer- Zoi 6 Months

When I received a message from Jennifer wanting to schedule Zoi’s 6 month session I couldn’t believe that she was already 6 months!!!! It’s amazing how much she has changed since we first did her newborns and 3 month pictures! She has such a fun and energetic personality now. We had so much fun getting together for her session and I can’t wait to see how far she’s come when we get together again in 3 months!
